It’s our March farmer’s market this Saturday at Overton Farm in the Clyde Valley, come along and join us for some great local food shopping. As the saying goes March has certainly ‘come in like a lion’ so for the time being we have some great winter warmers Galloway Chillies with preserves to spice up a cheese board or ramp up the heat in your favourite recipes, Overton Farm will help you celebrate pie week with delicious steak pies, The Battlefield Bakery with farmhouse bread fresh from their ovens, Dotty Designs pick up some delicious home baked cup cakes for a wee treat, St Bride’s Poultry for a comforting roast chicken dinner, Carmichaels Estate Meats have a great selection for slow cooked stews or venison pies and Caurnie Soap will be bringing natural bubbles to fill that hot bath. We’re delighted that a new producer will be coming along this Saturday, Damn Fine Cheese with a delicious selection of flavoured cheddar. Many of our producers will also have unique gift ideas and packs for Mother’s Day presents.

We’re back and looking forward to our first market of the year so join us this Saturday in the Clyde Valley. With the weather still freezing us to our bones it’s easy to justify some warming comfort foods, pick up some new season Yorkshire forced rhubarb the fine tender stems are perfect for compotes, tarts or cakes try this delicious Rhubarb & Orange Blossom Cake . We will have milk fresh from Thorntonhall Dairy, full milk with a creamy top perfect for porridge, veal, lamb, beef, venison, free range chickens, chilli preserves, cup cakes, home grown root veg, Seville oranges for marmalade making and farm house bread.
There’s also a treat in store for anyone spending £10 or over at any one stall of a warming free cuppa at The Oven Café, chose from your favourite coffee or tea.

Happy New Year to all our market goers. This year we will operate just one market per month at Overton Farm, Crossford in the glorious Clyde Valley. We will no longer be holding markets in Hamilton or Clarkston. Many of our stall holders deliver or have farm shops so please use the producer links for further information on your favourite producer.
The Clarkston market will now be run by Renfrewshire Markets most of our stallholders will continue to attend this market but if not you can contact them directly using details on this site or pop along to Overton Farmers’ Market on the first Saturday of each month, the next one is on the 7th February 9 till 1pm.
We’re looking forward to plenty of good things ahead, we’ll keep you up to date.

It’s a two market weekend! So for a bumper weekend of local food shopping to make the festive period extra special head to Hamilton Farmers’ Market at the Top Cross from 9 till 1pm on Saturday 20th December then we have our last market of the year on Sunday 21st December at Clarkston, Station Car Park at the later time of 12 till 4pm.

The South Church of Glasgow a bible based church which holds regular services in the Clarkston Halls and are regular stall holders with us will be holding their Christmas service just before the market, take a look at their page for details.

It’s a five Saturday month so no market this Saturday, take the time to get your Christmas food shopping list together. Have a look at our producers pages for some festive inspiration. Many of our stall holders deliver, have farm shops or retailers stocking their produce.
We’ll be back on the 6th December at Overton Farmers’ Market, Crossford in the Clyde Valley for a bumper festive market. So thinking caps on, note pad ready and sharpen that pencil!

It’s Clarkston Farmers’ Market this Saturday and from 9 till 1pm we will have our regular stallholders selling their wonderful produce as normal, at 12.30 the team from the Clarkston Bid have organised the annual Extravaganza light switch on event until 5pm some of our producers will stay all day to join in the fun. This is a great opportunity to get your Christmas orders in ready to pick up at our December market just before the big day!
If you’re looking for some artisan beers from Alesela, natural skincare from Caurnie Soaperie, fresh fish from Fencebay, Old Spot pork from Lochbyre, bread from the Battlefield Bakery, a wee coffee & chat from the South Church or venison from Carmichael Estate then make sure you pop along before 1pm the rest of our producers Overton Farm Shop, St Bride’s Poultry, Thorntonhall Ice Cream, chilli preserves from Galloway Chillies. chocolate letters from Marleston Chocolate, fudge from The wee Fudge, cup cakes from Dotty Designs, desserts from Saucy desserts will all be staying on for the numerous activities including carol singing contest, rickshaw rides, kids rides, Santa and loads more. Many of our producers will be rustling up tasty snacks and have some great gift ideas.
