17 stalls make for a busy market in CLARKSTON this Saturday

It seems no time since we were last in CLARKSTON but on SATURDAY, 23rd October we are back. Our trading will be 9am till 1pm-ish and we are looking forward to another good day. The September market day was very good and we hope our new customers then will return on Saturday. We should have 17 stalls. Those who were missing in September [Olives and Things, Fencebay Fisheries and Island Cheese] are back and we have 3 exciting new traders.

The first, The Scottish Tapas Company, has already “done” Overton Farm & Hamilton and they are now bringing their exciting produce to Clarkston.

The second new-comer is Ginger & Pickle who will be selling home baking produce. They are replacing The Apple Pie, who can no longer come to Clarkston.

Our third entrant is “bu Coffee” and this is different for us. Run by David Craig, this stall-holder will be selling freshly roasted coffee and loose leaf tea. You can have a hot drink at the market or you can buy some freshly ground to take home. Just think – you can enjoy a piping hot tea or coffee with a freshly baked scone or cake or even a roll & sausage. What more can you want as our colder winter mornings arrive. We think this will be good for the market experience. Give us your feed back. Incidentally, David Craig is the gentleman who brought our website up to date and rejuvenated it. We are grateful to him. I am afraid I will, once more, be missing from Clarkston on Saturday as I am tied up elsewhere. As ever, John Young is in charge. The following week we come to BIGGAR and we hope that some of these new stall-holders will be there as well. I hope you enjoy Clarkston on Saturday.
