Hamilton’s Farmers’ Market

Good morning, it is a grand day to today with the snow gone.    Let’s hope it stays that way.   We had a cracking good day in Strathaven yesterday with lots of people and whilst cold, the weather was bright and sunny.  The bucoffee hot drinks, minced pies and the wee drop of mulled wine went down very nicely!

Our market this Saturday, 18th December ’10 is in HAMILTON.    We will be trading as usual between 9am and 1 pm or thereabout.    We should have 16 stalls, all being well,    Sadly, no Island Cheese again as they plough their furrow elsewhere.    In a small way we hope to address this problem in the new year.   All the regulars will be with us and we hope to have a new baker to cover the temporary gap left by Millhouse Home Bakes.    Ginger & Pickles already go down well at Clarkston.

Another reminder about our Clarkston Market – the last market in 2010.    This market will be held in The Clarkston Hall on THURSDAY, 23rd December between 5pm and 8pm.    15 producers have booked.

But first we hope to see lots of people in Hamilton on Saturday.   See you there!
