Strathaven Farmer’s Market, Saturday 12th May 9 till 1pm, Sainsbury’s Car Park

It’s Strathaven market again this weekend, we’re back at Sainsbury’s for our second visit this year. So far the weather is forecasting full sun and no rain, sounds like an opporunity to grab some of Lochbyre Rare Breed Meat sausages and some Clyde Valley tomatoes and get the barbeque fired up. Coming along will be Alexander Taylor’s bread who have a couple of new breads, white San Franciscan Sour Dough and the most moreish corn bread.  Vanilla Buffets home baking and Threepwood Fayre Chocolates will be there for those looking to satisfy a sweet tooth. Along with excellent meats to choose from including Lochbyre Rare Breed Pork, St Bride’s Poultry, Carmichael Venison and Overton Farm Clyde Valley Veal we will hopefully have Alesela Beers to wash it all down! Loads of plants to choose from either floral varieties or some great veggie plants, salads, cabbages, herbs and varieties of seed potatoes. After all that gardening you’ll be needing some soap and there’s none better than that from Caurnie Soaperie. Hope you can join us on Saturday……..
