This month the farmer’s market will be joined by Avon Valley Vintage Power who will be bringing along a display of vintage agricultural machinery. As well as picking up some tasty treats you will have the opportunity to get up close to some vintage tractors and machinery and get a chance to see how they have developed over the years. It’s well worth a visit and the kids love it.
Just in time to pick up the juciest Clyde Valley strawberries for the Wimbledon Finals. Overton farm will have new season Ayrshire tatties, home grown salad tomatoes and Clyde Valley Rose Veal for a seasonal, local meal. As ever St Bride’s Poultry, Carmichael Venison, Lochbyre Rare Beed Meats, Tareglin Smpokehouse fish, Perthshire Preserves & Caurnie Soap will be there. Anyone who would like some bread please call Alexander Taylor’s Bakery before Thursday and place your order for pick up at the market on 01357 521260. It’s forecasted as sunny on Saturday so let’s make the most of it, see you there….
