Overton Festive Farmer’s Market this Saurday 1st December 9 till 1pm, Crossford, Clyde Valley

It’s just 4 weeks till Christmas so we will kick the season off at Overton Farmers’ Market this Saturday with some festive fun. We have a Santa’s grotto, mulled wine, mince pies, turkey and stuffing tasters. Arthur the farm pony will be there for the kids to ride around the field. The Christmas trees are being cut and will be ready for those eager to get the tree up and decorated, they are really fresh and with a bit of care will last through the period. Who know’s we may be spurred on to do a bit of carol singing!

Our stall holders will be there with some great treats to take home, for presents or to order for the big day. Alexander Taylor’s have boxes of mince pies, marzipan snowmen (perfect to top the cake), biscuit garlands and Christmas cakes and pudding to order, Perthshire will be coming along with some great preserves to pep up your festive dining and  zing up those left overs they promise deluxe mincemeat, cranberry and orange relish and Christmas marmalade, Vanilla Treats have their delectable home baking, bake to order Christmas cakes and mince pies and their famous hot chocolate with marshmallows and vanilla cream to warm you while you shop. Carmichael Estate Farm Meats with home bred lamb, beef and venison, Lochbyre with Old Spot pork which has just the best crackling, Overton Farm & Butchery, traditional turkey, beef, lamb and home grown veggies, St Bride’s Free Range Poultry has free range bronze turkeys to order and Caurnie Soaperie has some great gift ideas.
