Hamilton Farmers’ Market this Saturday 21st September, 9 till 1pm, Top Cross.

carmichaelIt’s Scottish Food & Drink Fortnight so join in the celebration of great Scottish produce by coming along to this Saturday’s farmer’s market at Hamilton Top Cross. We’ve been promised some special produce this Saturday with Carmichael Estate bringing a full range of farmed venison including their award winning venison rashers, Alexander Taylors Bakery have Old Spot pork & local sage dumplings along with the usual array of baked goods, Free range chickens & ducks from St Bride’s, Overton Farm have the Clyde Valley Victoria plums & damsons, freshly pulled King Edward & Maris Piper tatties and specials on steak mince & Clyde Valley veal. Fencebay will attend with fresh & smoked fish, Cullen Skink & fish pates.Rice n Spicy will be there with top quality, slow cooked Punjab dishes, remember to pre order if you’d like a specific dish. Caurnie Soap is also coming along with his range of natural skincare.
