It’s Overton Farmers’ Market this Saturday and what better way to embrace autumn than to head along and pick up some great local produce. We’ll be at Overton Farm in the heart of the Clyde Valley so come along and pick up freshly harvested tatties, home grown tomatoes all varieties including vine, yellow and baby plum all grown in the valley as are the soft berries. Meats available are veal, beef, lamb, pork and venison. Our baker will also be there with freshly baked farmhouse breads & biscuits.
Why not try this delicious osso buco recipe (as pictured) it’s perfect for the season.
There will also be information on our October Fruit Day Celebration (Saturday 3rd October), Scarecrow competition entry forms and info sheet. It’s amazing to see the characters that folk think up; it’s a lovely day out.
Remember there’s a complimentary hot drink at the Oven Café with a £10 spend at any one stall.
See you on Saturday…….
