Come along to Hamilton Top Cross this Saturday for a special extended Christmas Farmers’ Market, full of festive cheer! With face painting, street theatre and a Christmas Band it’s shaping up to be a great day. Our stall holders have promised to bring some Christmas specialities along with stollen, Christmas garland cookies and mince pies from Alexander Taylor, top quality butcher meat from Overton Farm with sacks of tatties, sprouts, dirty carrots, Christmas trees and wreaths. Order your turkey from Overton Farm or St Bride’s Poultry, chipolatas, Shetland Lamd and Old Spot pork joints from Lochbyre Rare Breed Meat, Estate farmed venison, lamb and Limousine Beef from Carmichael Estate, fresh fish and smoked fish pates from Fencebay, The Ochil Fudge Pantry are back along with their year round flavours they have festive ones including Christmas pudding flavour, Perthshire Preserves have their Orange and cranberry relish with a dash of Campari to give your turkey a bit of a zing, Caurnie Soap have some sweet smelling gift ideas, we also have a new stall this month Rice and Spicy bringing some super tasty Indian meals.
